December 31, 2007

Four-Course Tea Dinner at Samovar Tea Lounge in Yerba Buena Gardens
Prime your New Year's Eve with spiritual uplift at Samovar's Annual New Year's Dinner. Inspired by modern-day Native American Ceremonial life, this year's celebratory ritual includes four courses of the Bay area's native and traditional fare, tea pairings to every course, along with songs and teachings of the Sicangu Lakotas, or "Burnt Thigh" people.

Led by Paul Tootalian, a writer and student of Lakota Culture, Ceremony and traditional healing methods, the evening promises to be the perfect start to 2008: powerful, inner intention setting coupled with a feast for all the senses.
