There is no question: America is the land of extremes in every regard.
“Convenient tea” was invented here in the US in 1908 when Thomas
Sullivan decided to toss some loose leaves into a silk stocking (the first
tea bag). In the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, Richard Blechynden decided
to defy the Missouri summer heat by dumping ice into his tea.
An instant hit, we’ve been drinking it ever since.
Chinese Duck & Veggie Stir-fry, Squash Dumplings, & Oolong (specify if vegetarian)
“Nothing can have more uses than being. It is the emptiness of a wheel
hub that gives the wheel its usefulness. It is because a cup is empty in
the middle that it can be filled with tea, and is thus useful” Lao Tzu
English Service & Breakfast Blend
3-Tiered Platters of: Shitake Mushroom or Wild Smoked Salmon Quiche,
Scones, Devonshire Cream & Jam, Fresh Fruit

properties to tea. Actually though, it was the boiled water that made
everybody healthy.

“Perceive that which cannot be seen with the eye.” In 1643, after over
100 duels, Japan’s most famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi retired
to a cave named Reigando. While meditating on his life & impermanence,
Musashi spent his last years drinking tea, and writing the seminal classic
on strategy The Book of Five Rings. We like his philosophy: Open yourself
to the everyday beauty of life. Make life your art and pursue it with
untethered passion.
